  • News releases are forwarded to local newspapers for each State Finalist before the selection; and winners releases also are submitted after the event.
  • Each State Finalist is a winner and receives a sash with her school name on it and a beautiful tiara.
  • Each State Finalist is a winner and receives a number of special gifts which in the past have included a Miss Cheerleader of America Tote, Portfolio, Compact, Heart-Shaped Slinky, Window Decal, address book, and pom pon.
  • Each cheerleader takes home memories of being a STATE FINALIST which she will treasure for a lifetime!
  • Each school receives an impressive plaque with the State Finalist name and photo for placement in the sports trophy case.
  • Each cheerleader is a winner and receives an impressive Miss Cheerleader of America "Certificate Of Outstanding Character And Leadership" in recognition of her superior interview skills, poise, self-confidence, postive attitude, modeling ability, responsibility, and community service which is ready for framing.
  • Depending on the number of cheerleaders participating in a state selection, up to 10 girls are chosen as the Top Ten and receive either special trophies or plaques.
  • Regardless of where she places, each cheerleader goes home with either a plaque or trophy for being a Miss Cheerleader of America State Finalist!
  • Depending on the number of cheerleaders participating in a state selection, up to three cash scholarships may be awarded.
  • The cheerleader chosen as the top winner in each state selection, receives a large tiara and Miss Cheerleader of America sash. And wins a substantial cash scholarship, of course!
